Join us for this FREE afternoon workshop with pianist and artist Liangyeh Tai. Workshop is 1-5 pm and is limited to 20 participants ages 13 and up.

"Embodied Voice, Inspired by Inner and Outer Landscapes"

Sunday, Nov 10, 1pm-5pm

This workshop provides a nurturing, creative, meditative and joyous container for participants to explore "embodied toning", singing, movement, and improvisation. Heart-opening connections become available to ourselves, each other and our environments. Come and experience this bridge-crossing from vulnerable to confident vocal and movement expressions. We will also learn beautiful folk songs from around the globe. No previous musical experience required.

LIANGYEH TAI BIO:

Liangyeh Tai facilities heart-centered and empowered self expressions in her work with

audiences, students, and workshop participants. Growing up in Taiwan until age 15,

Liangyeh studied both traditional Chinese and Western classical music.

She trained at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City

and the Hartt School of Music in Connecticuit. After performing throughout Europe and

New England, a health crisis made her pause and rediscover the healing

power of music. Since then, she has facilitated creative music healing workshops in

hospitals, schools, and wellness-focused communities. Liangyeh is currently in a two-year

Professional Training in Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy. She lives in Boulder with

her daughter and cats.
